Good Morning Sea Lions! Hope everyone is relaxing and having a great weekend.

* No practice tomorrow!  Enjoy your families on a special day of remembrance.

* Final score from yesterday was 372 for Eagle Springs and 264 for Sandcreek. Even though we didn't win, you guys did an awesome job! They had 100 more kids than us swimming yesterday! Meet results are posted under the swim meet tab. Moving forward we will be going up against Fosters Mill/Kings Point this weekend. It will be our last home meet of the season (can you believe it??!!). I'm going to extend the stroke request deadline this week to give you an opportunity to look over the Summer Champs qualifying times (stroke requests need to be in by Tuesday at noon). We have a lot of kids who are really close with their times and might want to swim certain strokes. If you go under swim meets you can then select qualifying times next to Summer Champs to see the cutoff times. To see your child's times go to your parent page and next to your child's name will be a button to view times. Please, send me an email if you have any questions. Also, there are still some volunteer shifts that need to be covered for the weekend. It takes a small army to pull off a swim meet and we couldn't do it without your help - thank you!

* The weather looks sketchy again this week. The pool rule is that if it thunders or there is lightning we have to wait for 30 minutes before resuming practice. There are other teams in the area that cancel practice for everyone if the weather looks bad and we try hard to not do that, so hopefully we can get some practice in. It can be hard to communicate this at the last minute so please make sure you have checked the box to receive text messages (go to your parent page and update your profile - you will see the box to check) and check your email.

PICTURES are this Friday, May 29 starting with individual pics at 4:30...followed by the group picture. THERE WILL BE NO PRACTICE THIS FRIDAY due to pictures. Order forms will be available at the pool OR you can print out an order form: go to Calendar, click on May 29, click on "photos" and it opens up a box with a pdf link!

* Come join our SUPER-HERO themed pep rally this Friday, May 29th (6-8pm)!!
Bar-b-q sandwiches from Tin Roof (REMEMBER to sign up in advance for food at the pool this week)!  The coaches have prepared a "skit".. Come watch and cheer them on!!  Prize for best costume and Sea Lion poster!! Make your Sea Lion poster at home and bring it to the pep rally on Friday.  Remember to use positive themes for your posters (Don't put down the other team. Focus on Sea Lion pride!).
