PHOTOS TODAY

Individual photos will start at 4.30 pm today inside the pool area.  To speed things up, please bring the completed order form with you (available on our calendar).  There will be a team photo between 5.00 and 5.30 pm so be sure not to miss it, and we will then finish up any individual photos.

T-SHIRT SALE!

We have a number of sponsor t-shirts left from last year which make great additional Sea Lions shirts for you and your kids. We'll be selling them today at the pool for just $2 per shirt or three shirts for $5 - bargain!

 

SWIM MEET TOMORROW

The weather forecast is not great for tomorrow but we hope the meet will go ahead.  The safety of our swimmers and families will be our main priority and we will follow all NWAL protocols to ensure it!   

Some reminders:

- the ground is very wet & muddy outside the pool.  We may be sitting closer to the FMKP Waves swimmers and trust our swimmers and families to behave maturely and respectfully.

- please unload at the pool and then park at Deerwood Elementary school and NOT in any of the side streets or along Timber Shade.  We want to be courteous to our pool neighbors and not walk across their yards.

- circle in time is 7.00 am.  You must sign in with the main desk and then with your age group parent.  We don't want to scratch you from the meet!

- the heat sheet is available on line but will also be available to purchase at the meet for $3.

- support the team by purchasing breakfast tacos and the delicious jambalaya generously donated by the Smith family.

 

INTERESTED IN JOINING THE BOARD NEXT YEAR?

The Sea Lions wouldn't exist without all our wonderful parent volunteers and our board.  There are 13 different positions with 16 board members in total (some roles are shared).  All the positions are listed on the website and we are always looking for new members to join us.  We're a fun and friendly bunch!   As tomorrow's our last home meet, this is an ideal opportunity for you to see what each position does.  If you're interested in finding out more, please seek out one of the board members listed at tonight's Pep Rally or the meet tomorrow.

 

SUMMER CHAMPS

So far only 19 swimmers have registered for Summer Champs which takes place next Sunday June 7th 2.30 pm (10&unders) and Monday June 8th 5.30 pm (11&over).  If your swimmer is eligible to swim in this meet, you will have received a separate email with all the details.  The deadline for you to sign up your swimmer is tomorrow (Saturday) at 6.00 pm.  Payment box is at the pool. We need swimmers across all our age groups to swim at Summer Champs - there are team trophies for the first three teams and the Sea Lions have performed great at this meet in previous years.
