Good morning Sea Lions,

 

Great job yesterday to all our 10 & unders who swam at Summer Champs.  Tonight our 11 & overs get their chance to swim - warm ups are 4:00 to 4:25 pm and the meet starts at 5:30 pm.  Don't be late or you could be scratched from a relay. If you haven't paid yet please bring a check or cash and give to Debbie Hughes (will be there at 6:30).  For the 10 & under swimmers in progressive relays (Madison Kelley, Sophia & Jack Hays, Trevor James, Ryan Rautenbach, Noah Ramby, Lulu & Lexie Hughes), please be at the pool by 6.30 pm tonight.

 

Summer Practice Times - check the website for morning practice times (look under the Team tab and Stroke Camp/Swim Practice Times).

 

Wednesday 10th June Swimathon - we hope to see all our swimmers at our team fundraiser for MD Anderson Cancer Research.  Ask friends and family to sponsor you per lap or donate a fixed amount.  Come any time between 7:00 and 10:00 am and swim as many laps as you can.  Prizes for every 20 lengths you swim and anyone who donates $25 or more gets a tshirt.   T-Shirt designs are due by the morning of the swimathon. Sign up online for lap counting and at the pool for breakfast items or email Debbie Brown at [email protected]

 

Raffle - you can also support MD Anderson Cancer Research by buying raffle tickets to win 3 nights/4 days at a 2 beedroom condo in Orange Beach, Alabama.  The dates would be for 2016 and tickets are $5 for one or $20 for 5 tickets.  There's a poster hanging by the pool entrance with more information and Carla Ramby or Mary Krebs will have tickets at practice EVERYDAY this week.  The drawing is at the Team Party on June 19.

 

Saturday 13th June Dual meet at Kings River - this Saturday is our last dual meet.  Please RSVP online and enter any stroke requests in the comments box.  We need these by midnight tonight!  Pep Rally is at Skeeters Friday 12th June from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

 

Monday 15th June we have a spirit night at Bahama Bucks (5444 Atascocita Road) - it's a fun family sno-cone place. They are donating 30% of all sales from anyone between 5:00 and 8:00 pm so tell all your friends too!

 

Friday 19th June Team Party & Awards - come to the Sand Creek pool and celebrate a great season of swimming, teamwork and friendship - awards for every swimmer on the team!

 

Saturday 20th Divisionals - Saturday 20th June is a really fun meet when we swim against all the teams in our Division.  It's at Atascocita High School which has a great natatorium and there are no qualifying times required so all our swimmers can participate.  RSVP online and enter stroke requests.  We are only allowed one relay team per event and are limited on total number of entries but we want our whole team to swim this final meet.

 

Sat 27th/Sun 28th June All Stars/Ponderosa - all the meet info and qualifying times is on our website under Swim Meets. More info on sign up dates/process to follow.  Pep Rally at Fuddruckers on Friday 26th June from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
