Good Morning Sea Lion families!



Great job to the Sea Lions at Summer Champs! The Sea Lions swam fast and brought home the 1st place trophy. The season is starting to wind down but we still have some very important events left.

* Pep Rally is at Skeeters tonight from 6:00-8:00pm in the back room. The theme is Luau! Get laid back and wear your grass skirt (Dads, please wear shorts underneath!) or Hawaiian shirt!

* The Last dual meet is this Saturday at the Kingsriver Kingfish. This is an away meet and our website has parking and set up information. Circle in time is at 7:00am and then check-in with your age group parent and get your event numbers. This is the last weekend we are collecting donations for the coaches. They have done such a great job with all the kiddos let's show them how much we appreciate them! Please see Kim Kelley at the circle in table on Saturday - she is working on a special gift for our coaches and needs the kids to come sign their name.

* Sunday by midnight we need your RSVP and stroke requests for Divisionals. This is such a fun meet where we swim against all the teams in our division. All swimmers can participate.

* Please check the website to check on your swimmers practice time for this week as the times/age groups have rotated. Turn clinic is on Tuesday and Dive clinic is on Thursday (sign up at the pool).

* The team party is on Friday the 19th from 5:30-8:00pm. 

* If you missed the swimathon on Wednesday, it's not too late to donate! Lots of Sea Lion families have been affected by cancer and all donations benefit M.D. Anderson. There is a box set up by the family folders at practice. Speaking of family folders please check yours and collect your pictures and ribbons.

* PLEASE buy raffle tickets to support MD Anderson Cancer Research... You could win 3 nights/4 days at a 2 bedroom condo in Orange Beach, Alabama. Dates would be for 2016. $5 per ticket OR $20 for 5 tickets. Look for the poster hanging by the pool entrance .. Carla Ramby or Mary Krebs will have tickets at practice EVERY DAY. The drawing will be held at Divisionals and you don't need to be present to win!

Visitors Tents:


Tent set up for visitors is on the back side of the pool house and may not be set up in the kiddie pool area inside the fence.  Tent set up is not allowed the night before.  Home team sets up in the parking lot and just southwest of the pool. Area two is where a volleyball court used to be.  Large sandy area, I would highly recommend a tarp under your canopy if you utilize this area.  The acoustics for announcements are less audible in area 2. 



Drop Off Zone:


There will be Drop Off/Pick-up zones located on Kings River Dr. directly in front of the pool:








Parking:
Parking is recommended up and down Kings River Dr.  There are a couple of residential areas that are cul-de-sac near the pool. We ask our home and visiting parents to not park in these side streets as it severely restricts ingress/egress to these residential areas.
