A Few Updates:

 

Important Dates:

Friday May 6 - Pep Rally 6:00 Sand Creek Pool 

Saturday May 7 - Red/Black Meet 

Sunday May 8 - Deadline to RSVP and make stroke requests for the FMKP Meet 

Fri May 13 - Sea Lion Picture day at Pep Rally 

 

Friday Practice Times: 

3:30-4:00            6 & under

4:00-4:30            7/8's

4:30-5:00             9/10's

5:00-5:30            11 and up

 

Lost and Found - All lost and found items are in the blue bins located inside the pool area.  Please ask your child to check this for any missing items.  We have several towels, goggles and shoes already!  

 

Pool Deck - Parents are only allowed inside the gate on Thursday.  All other days please give you child a hug at the check in table and send them in to swim.  There are adult volunteers, coaches and team managers there to make sure they get where they need to be.  The children get very distracted when parents inside the pool area.  We have a very large group of swimmers and our goal is to keep them safe.  If you need to communicate with your child during practice, please ask one of the team managers or board members for help.  

 

Parking - A few quick notes on parking during practices and meets:

- please don't park in the handicap spots if not handicapped
- please don't block the fire hydrant
- please don't park blocking the stop sign/in the intersection
- please only park on one side of the street
- please park at DWE for meets
 

Pep Rally Food - Don't forget to sign up at the pool on THURSDAY if you would like to order Chick-Fil-A (chicken sandwich or 6 nuggets) for the pep rally this Friday, May 6 from 6-8.  We will also be selling chips and drinks.  Cash and Checks are accepted.  You are welcome to bring your own food to the pep rally.  

 

Bathrooms - Please do your part to keep the bathrooms clean during practice.

 

Sand pit - We have had some complaints about behavior in the sand pit during practices.  Please speak with your children about not throwing or kicking sand.  We have a lot of very small children playing in the area while the older children practice and we need to keep that area safe for them.  If you have children playing at the park while they are waiting to swim, please keep an eye on them.  

 

Check in time is 7:00am for all swimmers at the Red/Black meet on Saturday!
