IMPORTANT: RED/Black volunteering information
Hello Sea Lion Families,
Please read on for some very important information regarding volunteering. Things are being done differently this year due to the volunteer deposit and the tracking of each family’s points. When you arrive at the pool in the morning your child will be checking in at the swimmer sign in table. At that time, please sign in at the volunteer table and pick up a card with your family’s name on it. You will need to have that card signed by the coordinator of the area where you are volunteering. VERY IMPORTANT: When you are finished with your shift there will be a box over by the computer station for you to drop your card in. We will collect those cards and note your participation. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARD HOME WITH YOU OR YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR YOUR SHIFT!
The Red/Black meet is very important to the kids because for many it is their first experience at a meet. It is also very important as a team because this is where the kids get their seed times. Swimmers are not able to participate in dual meets without recording seed times at this meet. We depend on our volunteers to run safe, efficient and timely meets. In order to accomplish this we need all volunteer positions filled. Please see below for a listing of open positions.
