Team Manager Minutes
Great job to all of our swimmers at the Red/Black meet! It was close, but the Black team won the meet. A few updates for the week:
Important Dates:
Friday May 13 Swim Pictures 4:30
Friday May 13 Pep Rally at Sand Creek Pool 6-8
Saturday May 14 Meet against FMKP at Sand Creek Pool
Sunday May 15 RSVP for for Fall Creek Meet by Midnight
Meet Results: You can view the meet results by going to the SWIM MEETS tab and selecting the 1st icon next to each meet name.
Pictures: There is no practice on Friday due to Sea Lion pictures. Please arrive at the pool in your swimsuit by 4:30 to line up for the team picture. Individual pictures will be taken before and after the team picture. The order form is attached and will be available on our website. Please print and bring this with you to speed up the process.
Pep Rally: Pep Rally will be this Friday from 6-8. Fiesta Azteca will be providing Chicken or Beef fajita tacos, chips, salsa and queso. Sign up sheets will be at the check in table starting today. Orders are taken through Thursday practice. Any questions please contact Carla 832-489-4468
Anniversary Towels: Anniversary towel signup will be at the check in table starting today! If your swimmer has been a Sea Lion for 5, 10 or 15 years please come sign up so they can receive their commemorative towel.
Parking: Everyone did a great job following the signs for parking at the Red/Black meet. There will be twice as many attendees at the FMKP meet this Saturday. Please do your part to help traffic control by parking your car at Deerwood Elementary and walk to the pool on the greenbelt. If you are biking, we will have bike racks available.
Meet Check-In: Check in for the meet on Saturday is at 7:00am. This means as soon as your get to the meet, your swimmer needs to go to the check-in table to let us know they are there. After that they need to go find their age group parent to get their strokes for the meet. Relay cards are turned in at the beginning of the meet. If the coaches do not see your swimmer at check-in they will be removed from the relay and replaced with a swimmer that is present. Once these relays are turned in they can not be changed.
Meet RSVP: Don't forget to RSVP for meets on Sunday nights. If there are strokes you do not want to swim, please make a note of that in the comments section.
Practices: NO PARENTS inside the gate except for Thursdays. On Thursday we ask that parents please sit back by the tables so as not to distract the kids. Only the parents that have signed up to be on-deck helpers should be walking near the pool.
Set-up shifts: Arrival time for the set-up volunteer shift is 5:30am
Volunteer Shifts: If you have not done so already please login and select your volunteer shifts for the next meet.
