Howdy Sea Lions!

 

What an awesome meet against FMKP!  The Sea Lions crushed them with a final score of 778 to 533!  A few updates for this week:

 

Important Dates:

Friday May 20 - Regular Practice NO PEP RALLY

Saturday May 21 - Away Meet AT Fall Creek Pool 7:00am check in 

Sunday May 22 - RSVP and enter stroke requests for next meet 

 

NO PEP RALLY this Friday!  We will follow normal practice times this Friday. 

 

Sportsmanship - Friendly reminder to speak with your children about good sportsmanship at the meets.  One great way to show this is by staying in the water until all the swimmers in your heat are finished swimming.  

 

Fall Creek Meet - Fall Creek has two pools.  The address for the meet is 7930 Fall Creek Bend Humble, TX 77396.  The address and driving directions are available on the website under the Swim Meets tab.  

 

Meet Entries- These will be posted at the pool on Wednesday.  Please check them during practice.  If there are any changes to be made please let us know by Wednesday evening.  

 

Lost and Found - The bins are really filling up!  Be sure to check the lost and found for any missing goggles, clothes, shoes or towels!  

 

Coaches - All coaches will be at practice beginning Tuesday!  If you haven't already, be sure to welcome them home! 

 

Pool Deck - Parents are welcome on the pool deck on Thursdays!  Please remember to sit in the chairs or at the tables while you watch your swimmer.  

 

Practice conduct - For the safety of your child and the other swimmers, it is very important that everyone follow the rules.  Please remind your child to listen to the coaches and parent volunteers and be respectful. 

NO running inside the pool gates

Don't forget to sign in each day at practice 

Do not enter the pool gate until your age group is called to practice 

Be respectful of all adult volunteers while at the pool 

No throwing sand in the sand box
