Hi Sea Lions!  After that crazy night of rain we are ready for a fun filled sunny swim meet!  Arf! Arf! 

 

Don't forget, if you signed up for the dive clinic it will be held tonight after the 11 & up practice at 6:45.  

 

Be sure to take a look at lost and found.  

 

If you are available to help,  the equipment team will be loading the trailer today at 6:00pm at the Sand Creek Pool.  

 

A few notes for tomorrow:

 

Meet Address: 17821 Eagle Springs Pkwy, Humble, TX 77346 on the corner of Eagle Springs Pwky & Will Clayton Pwky

 

Drive Time: This pool is about a 20 minute drive from our neighborhood.  Please plan accordingly to get your swimmer there in time for check-in. 

 

Parking: Parking is allowed along Eagle Springs Parkway, in the Eagle Springs Elementary School parking lot, or in the church parking lot. Just make sure you do not park in a fire lane or by a fire hydrant. There is no parking along Will Clayton Parkway, on the interior neighborhood streets, at the ball fields, anywhere along the loop that runs by the pool, the clubhouse, or the visitor's center. Cars parked illegally will likely be ticketed and/or towed. Also, the church will have some spots blocked off for use by their members.  Parents may pull through the loop at the pool, drop off their swimmers and belongings, and then proceed to a parking spot.  To do this, parents will need to enter from Eagle Springs Pkwy and exit to Will Clayton.  Please remind them that while in the drop off lane, not to park and walk away from their vehicle.

 

We have had an issue with car break-ins in the past. Uniformed constables will be on patrol, but you may want to inform your team not to leave any valuables in their cars.

 

 

Swimmer Check-in: 7:00-7:15  Swimmers need to first check-in at the Sea Lion table and then with their age group parent.  If the coaches do not see the swimmer at 7:15, the swimmer will be removed from relays.  Please try to be there on time or let Elizabeth, Corey or Kim know if you will be late.  

 

Volunteer Check-in:  Between 7:00 and 7:45am.  Check in at the Sea Lion table to get your cards.  Don't forget to turn in your card after you have it signed!!  

 

Warm-ups: Between 7:45 and 8:00.  Listen to the announcements for this.  

 

Events: Eagle Springs is a big team but they have an 8 lane pool!  Hopefully this meet will run quickly like last week.  Remind your children that it is their responsibility to be in line when their event is called. Listen to the announcements so you know which event we are on and plan ahead. Swimmers are welcome to play between events, but they need to be where the age group parent can find them when it is time to line up.  They did such a GREAT job of listening and quickly lining up at the Fall Creek Meet!  THANK you for helping the age group parents.
