Howdy Sea Lions!

 

     Please help us give back to our coaches. We are still collecting money donations for the coaches gift this week. Please find a board member at practice to turn in cash or check before Friday. Also, please have your swimmer sign the picture frames for their coach. 

     What a busy weekend! I hope everyone enjoyed Summer Champs as much as I did! Our 6& Unders boys relay placed first, the girls third, and William Desmond took home the high point boy award. Lots of our swimmers placed in the free and back, and had a lot of fun! I noticed how well behaved all our 6& Unders were while waiting to be put on the ready bench, and then while on the ready bench. Overall we had a good meet, and I'm excited for Divisionals coming up this weekend!

    What a great way to end our last dual meet! Their hard work has paid off. We saw so many kids dropping time and qualifying for All-stars and Ponderosa. We are so proud to see these kids improving. We can't believe this season is coming to an end. These last few weeks we will be focusing on preparing for Divisonals, All-stars, and ponderosa!  Arf! Arf!

    I'm very proud of the way everyone swam this weekend. There was a lot of time dropped and the races looked great! I want everyone to keep up the great work. As we approach the end of the season, we're gonna be working on racing strategies, as well as working with each swimmer individually to iron out aspects of their races. I look forward to seeing how everyone does at Divisionals and the Invitationals. Good Luck and Go Sea Lions!

    Hello to all! Awesome meets this weekend Sea Lions! We had a jam packed weekend of swimming, but the kids did amazing! The swimmers continue to improve immensely in their races, both technique and time wise. As the season is getting close to the end let’s keep encouraging our swimmers to continue to give 100% this week at practice, and I look forward to our upcoming meet at Divisionals.

    We're getting close to the end of the season, but it's never too late to work on starts. All of the coaches are offering private dive/swim lessons until All Stars/Ponderosa (and possibly after depending on coach availability). We have been given special permission to teach diving lessons during regular pool hours. This would give us the chance to work one on one with your swimmers as well as work out scheduling on an individual basis instead of setting (and inevitably cancelling) another dive clinic. If you're interested please email Aaron [email protected] or text Corey 832-928-1657 with your preferred coach and we will set something up. Let's finish this season strong!
