Hi Sea Lion Families! 

We swam hard against the Trailwood Village Gators, but came up just a little short. The final score was 786 to 688.  We are looking forward to swimming against Bear Branch this weekend.  Arf, Arf!

 Important Dates:

Tuesday, May 16th - Sea Lion Picture Day, NO PRACTICE

Individual pictures start at 5, with the team picture at 5:45.  Individuals can be taken before or after the team picture.

Friday May 19 - Short practice due to Pep Rally

Friday Practice Times: 

3:30-4:00            6 & under

4:00-4:30            7/8's

4:30-5:00             9/10's

5:00-5:30            11 and up

Saturday May 20 Meet away AT Bear Branch Pool 7:00am check in 

Sunday May 21 RSVP and enter stroke requests for next meet 

 

 

Meet Check -in:  Please remember that you have to check in the morning of the meet with the main sign in table, as well as your age group parent. If you don't check in with your age group parent, the coaches will assume you aren't there, and will scratch you from any relays that you should be participating in.  Check in and stay close to the age group parent! 

 

Sportsmanship - Friendly reminder to speak with your children about good sportsmanship at the meets.  One great way to show this is by staying in the water until all the swimmers in your heat are finished swimming.  

 

Baer Branch Meet -  The address for the meet is 3215 Cedar Knolls Dr, Kingwood, TX 77339.  The address and driving directions are available on the website under the Swim Meets tab.  

 

Meet Entries- These will be posted at the pool on Wednesday.  Please check them during practice.  If there are any changes to be made please let us know by Wednesday evening.  

 

Lost and Found - The bins are really filling up!  Be sure to check the lost and found for any missing goggles, clothes, shoes or towels!  

 

Coaches - All coaches are back at practice!  If you haven't already, be sure to welcome them home! 

 

Pool Deck - Parents are welcome on the pool deck on Thursdays!  Please remember to sit in the chairs or at the tables while you watch your swimmer.  

 

Practice conduct - For the safety of your child and the other swimmers, it is very important that everyone follow the rules.  Please remind your child to listen to the coaches and parent volunteers and be respectful. 

NO running inside the pool gates

Don't forget to sign in each day at practice 

Do not enter the pool gate until your age group is called to practice 

Be respectful of all adult volunteers while at the pool 

No throwing sand in the sand box
