Howdy Sea Lions!

What a busy weekend we had!  We had a great win on Saturday against the Kingsfish and took home 3rd place in our division at Summer Champs. Congrats to all of our  hard working swimmers! Arf! Arf! 

Since it was such a busy weekend - RSVP deadline for the Walden meet has been extended until midnight tonight. 

Remember, our practice times have changed since we are officially in summer! 

June 5th – June 9th

6 and under 7:30 – 8:15 

7/8 8:15-9 

9/10 9 – 9:45 

11+ 9:45 – 10:45 

 

June 12th -June 16th

6 and Under 9-9:45 

7/8 9:45-10:30 

9/10 7:30-8:15 

11+ 8:15-9 

 

June 19th - June 23rd 

8 and Under 8-8:45

9/10 8:45-9:30

11+ 9:30 - 10:30

 

Important Dates:

Wednesday, June 7 - Swim-a-thon,  No regular practice times, just come swim anytime starting at 7 a.m.  Get those laps in! 

Friday, June 9 -  pep rally and dinner at Skeeters 6 p.m.

Saturday, June 10 -  Away meet against Walden Waves, 18100 Walden Forest Dr, Atascocita, TX 77346

Sunday June 11 - RSVP and enter stroke requests for Divisonals 

Sportsmanship - Friendly reminder to speak with your children about good sportsmanship at the meets.  One great way to show this is by staying in the water until all the swimmers in your heat are finished swimming.  

 Meet Entries- These will be posted online by Wednesday.  Please check them!  If there are any changes to be made please let us know by Wednesday evening.  

 Lost and Found - The bins are overflowing!  Please make time to check the table for any items. 

 Pool Deck - Parents are welcome on the pool deck on Thursdays!  Please remember to sit in the chairs, bleachers, or  tables while you watch your swimmer.  

 Practice conduct - For the safety of your child and the other swimmers, it is very important that everyone follow the rules.  Please remind your child to listen to the coaches and parent volunteers and be respectful. 

NO running inside the pool gates

Don't forget to sign in each day at practice 

Do not enter the pool gate until your age group is called to practice 

Be respectful of all adult volunteers while at the pool 

No throwing sand in the sand box
