Coaches Notes from Walden Meet
We couldn't have asked for a better end to our duel meets! We finished on a win, broke a pool record, and lots of our swimmers dropped time. We're all so proud of the swimmers and how far they've come this season! Coming up to Divisionals we are going to work hard at practice, and hopefully anyone who hasn't made an All Star or Ponderosa time can do that on Saturday. Please have all your swimmers warm up on Saturday, these blocks will be a lot different than our blocks, and in the past we've had kids not swim because they didn't warm up and then were scared of how deep or cold the pool is.
The coaches have a fun surprise planned for Divisionals, and hopefully we will see everyone there!

Congrats Sea Lions!
What a great last duel meet. We have seen so many improvements throughout the season and we couldn't be any happier. We know Walden was the last meet for many, and we are going to miss you all very much! We still have practice, so feel free to keep attending. Divisional's will be a fun meet and we are looking forward to it! Go sea lions!

Hi all!
Congratulations Sea Lions on winning our last dual meet! We had several kids drop time, which is harder to do at this point in the season, and I’m so proud of them. We have 17 kids with All Stars times and three with Ponderosa times out of the 7/8s. We will do great at Divisionals this Saturday and hope to get more qualifying times! We are in Championship season so giving the most effort at practice is very important. Let’s have an awesome week at practice and do great at Divisionals!

Great meet sea lions! What a win! Our meet this weekend against Walden was awesome and was full of fun energy from all the kids! We have one more meet of the season before all star and ponderosa, so make sure to request any stroke you may be close to qualifying in. This part of the season is so fun, so let's finish strong!

I am super excited for everyone that swam well this weekend, I saw a ton of great races! This week we'll be working on individual strokes, as well as how to race in a "big pool" like the one at Kingwood Park. Hopefully everyone can get their qualification times at Divisionals this week, and I look forward to seeing everyone in practice!
